Our elegantly refurbished studio is located in a magnificent listed Georgian terrace in Edinburgh's city center. Bright, spacious and airy, it provides almost 700 sq ft of display space and large changing rooms.
Bespoke accessories are available from a multi-award winning designer and brides can choose from up to 300 designer gowns.
Bliss Bridal Studio is open by appointment only to give our brides and her entourage a 1st Class one to one service. (Click here for address and contact detail).

OUR STORY
Bliss Studio is a beautiful Edinburgh based bridal studio that sells sample, new and preloved wedding dresses at refreshingly affordable prices.
Bliss was established in 2011 and is owned and managed by Stephnie Rooney who has many years of experience in the bridal industry. Steph has designed and made wedding dresses for over 20 years, but has always been very aware of the impact of the fashion industry on our beautiful planet. And so Bliss Studio was born! Bliss Studio offers a much more sustainable option, both financially and environmentally.
“So many of my friends were trying to sell some quite stunning once- worn gowns on the internet, wondering why they received few or no interest.”
The answer seemed obvious to me... “All brides-to-be want to be pampered and try on lots of gowns in a glamorous setting, accompanied by friends and family, sharing the special experience. Selecting from a choice of just one gown in someone's home - however beautiful the gown and however low the price - can seem like an inferior option."
The solution? Offer brides the full pampering experience and a fabulous selection of once-worn gowns so they save money but still thoroughly enjoy the process. And that's how Bliss Studio was born!
Steph’s tips for choosing your gown:
1. Enjoy yourself! Cherish the experience as part of your journey to being a wife. Use the process to embrace your body, to celebrate your style and to emphasize your personality. Being a bride means that everything is unashamedly about you, so take the time to revel in that experience!
2. Be true to yourself! Don’t worry about what a ‘bride’ ought to be. On your wedding day, you ought to be you but a little more fabulous!
3. Set a budget. Decide how much you would like to spend on your gown and stick to spending an amount that feels right to you.. We want to help you find the dress off your dreams and stick to your budget.
4. It is not all about the dress (gasp). Be true to you in how you accessorise your dress. We love knitwear with bridal gowns and funky shoes :). Invest in beautiful accessories that you can wear again .
